For the past few months, we have been renovating our website so that it can be more informative, better structured, and easier to navigate through. At last, we are proud to unveil our new website. Whether you want to learn about the YWCA of Palestine and its different programs and activities aimed at empowering Palestinian women or to be updated with what is new at the YWCA of Palestine, this is your best resort.

Celebrating Child Day: on the Palestinian Child Day, a painting competition was initiated amongst children aged 6-10 from eight schools in Jerusalem, under the title "I have a dream". Seventeen prizes were given to  the best paintings, selected by a celebration festival at the YWCA in Jerusalem with around 300 children. The program included games, paintings, dance, fun and more.                                          

Easter Celebrations for children and families: Eighty five children joined the YWCA of Jerusalem organized Easter activity on the 18th of April, where they painted and designed their own eggs. On another occasion, the YWCA of Ramallah organized a children egg hunting party with several entertainments for children, including face painting and clown's performance, where fifty five children participated along with their parents.

  Partners and groups visits: A delegation of two from HorYzon Switzerland and the YWCA/YMCA Sweden visited the YWCA of Palestine, observed the various projects and programs, including the Ramallah and Jericho branches with short visits to the centers in the refugee camps.

The YWCA of Ramallah received a group of seventy people from the Ramallah Federation on the 23rd of April. they were welcomed by the board vice president Ms. Maha Shehadeh who briefed them on the current and future plans and projects of the YWCA.
